Prematured bananas on the other hand, are done on purpose.
For ur Del Monte bananas to reach the NTUC by now, they probably need to be harvested about a week earlier.
How much nutrients can you expect?
Same goes for most of the other vegetables that we consume in Singapore.
It doesn't help that vegetables has been used more for decorative purposes in chicken rice, laksa.
I'm pretty disgusted at how cheap vegetables are, and how little they are used by some of our hawkers.
Little veges + Less nutrients per veges = Negligible nutrients from veges.
As I have always said.
