Why couldn't he/she just POOKing follow your instructions?
Why doesn't he/she listen attentively to what you said?
You are pissed, and find his/her reasons unsatisfying.
Your finale ends with a shaking the head to denote total disappointment.
And both of you are unhappy. =(
So how do you avoid such situations?
It's to have the right mindset.
Constantly remind yourself.
If you want to do anything correct, you gotta do it YOURSELF!
Because only you know best what you want.
Other people may not neccessarily understand what you mean.
You may have think that you have briefed him/her the most precise step-by-step procedure on how to execute your orders.
But to him/her, his/her interpretation may be a variation of yours.
So why can't you just do everything yourself?
Because you, as a boss/spouse/friend do not have all the time in the world!
So the second best thing you can do is to get help from someone.
From a company's perspective, it could mean as much as thousands of people's help to help you run the company. The only difference is that bosses are allowed to scold you, because the company has paid for your services.
So the next time someone screw things up, don't flare up.
Never take your friend's help for granted.
Helping you out is a BONUS (assuming you did not pay him), not an entitlement.
Anyway, you should have done it yourself.
So stay cool the next time someone doesn't do YOUR things your way!
Remember, Happiness and Sadness are both contagious!
