She had an interesting observation - quite a bit of her customers has some symptoms of illness. Don't people understand that eating vegetarian AFTER you kenna illness is already too late?
She was sharing her story of one of her regular customer who has gotten Alzheimer's Disease, which is one of the top 10 degenerative disease in the world (#1 is cancer).
What is Alzheimer's Disease?
(stolen from another website)
It is a progressive brain disorder that gradually destroys a person’s memory and ability to learn, reason, make judgments, communicate and carry out daily activities. As Alzheimer’s progresses, individuals may also experience changes in personality and behavior, such as anxiety, suspiciousness or agitation, as well as delusions or hallucinations.
Back to the story, she shared some of the behaviours of this poor guy.
(1) He forgets to pay after he ordered. When questioned, he will reply "I haven't?"
(2) He ordered a cup of milo, but ended up walking to another table to drink an unfinished milo, thinking that was his.
(3) He does the same with mee goreng.
(4) When food is put on his table, he won't bring the food closer to him. Instead, he will go closer to the food.
(5) His zipper is open.
(6) Another customer with similar condition even washed the noodle bowl in the toilet bowl. Yucks! He was apparently confronted by the stall owner and they ended up fighting.
Was also told that people with Alzhimer's eat 20 tablets in a go.
It's no laughing matter.
We live too short, and die too long.
Good luck.
