Some clarifications before I talk about the SINGLE most important word that shape my life forever, and make me what I am today.
(1) I never had a good temper during my younger days
Switch off my TV, and I will throw a tantrum.
Force me to stop playing computer games, and I will be unhappy.
Nag too much and I will be unhappy too.
Credits to my mum and poor Ahma for tolerating me during those days.
I have since changed, not because of maturity, but because of the SINGLE word.
(2) Many things do not guarantee you happiness
Money gives you more options in life, not happiness.
Religion gives you an aim in life, not neccessary happiness.
Being handsome/chio gives you only enviety, not happiness. (Think Marilyn Monroe)
Wife gives you companionship, not neccessary happiness. (Divorce rates are going up)
(3) Being truly happy doesn't make you a clown
Clowns smile on the outside, but are truly sad on the inside.
They make people happy at their expense.
People who are truly happy DO NOT put a false front.
They are happy because they are naturally happy, because of that SINGLE word.
(4) Everyone can be happy, truly
You can be a millionaire, a construction worker, or a victim of the tsunami.
It doesn't matter, because everyone can be happy.
I have dedicated a good amount of time reading up on how one can be truly happy.
It doesn't matter which book I read, because they all point to the same thing.
I shall sum it up with one SINGLE word.
Be conscious of this word always, and hope it will shape your life.
