Coca Cola is good

Do you know that Coca Cola contains 8 teaspoons worth of sugar? Carbonated drinks has to contain more sugar than non-carbonated ones to taste "just as sweet".

Do you even put 8 teaspoons of sugar in your coffee?

Enjoy your coke.

It's not only the sugar to worry about. Imagine I've read that Coke can even make our toilet bowl sparkling white too!

I remember my brother (many many years ago) told me that those soft drinks have SO MUCH sugar that he doesn't dare to drink them haha!

8 teaspoons are like 2 tablespoons lor. Too much. I thought people usually put only 1 teaspoon for 1 cup of coffee, don't they?

By the way, I also heard that coke can erode the outer layer of your teeth.

Do you know that they only started removing the cocaine 20 years after they started selling coca cola? Coca is the name of the plant that produces cocaine.

Hey, u know alot more than what your name implies.

Cherish Tulips:
Wow, didnt know about the pharmacy part. You are pregnant, so better don't let the carbonated drink kill your calcium.

MKL:
Haha, coca cola is bad, and your coffee is worse.

dolly:
Smart choice. One step towards a whiter teeth.

Wenny:
Oh, my toilet detergent is running out. Time to get some coke! =p

Ai Shiang:
Your bro is smart. Good to consume less (or no) coke when young. Health accumulates.

Wenn:
Believe its equally evil, but think it should have less sugar than Coke.

numbernine:
Didn't know that. Even without cocaine, I still see alot of people getting "addicted" to it.

chris@dotagaki:
Haha, you are still young. When you get as old as *cough cough* me, you might wanna slow down on the sugar consumption.

HB:
Coke Light is lesser of 2 evils, but still evil. ^_^

I don't drink Coca Cola because it's just so unhealthy! But it is a very effective thirst quencher and sore throat remedy.

I guess it's OK to drink it once in a blue moon and even then, don't finish the whole can. Also, avoid it at all cost if you are a diabetic.

Sometimes I think Health Authorities in Singapore should put warning labels on carbonated drinks, similar to what they do on cigarettes.

Coke has a 'secret ingredient' added. I was told that it's concentrated acid of some kind. This is from a college professor who used to work at a plant during his college days.

An article I read many years ago states that coke is used by police officers in the US to wash away blood in road accidents. That's what the articles says. And a host of other uses, including cleaning toilets as mentioned by Wenny above.

Many people think Diet Coke is the alternative. It's something like jumping from the pan to the fire as the ingredient used in diet stuff is usually aspartame. Aspartame is known to be carcinogenic so all that Equal and sugarless stuff (e.g. chewing gum) that we use as alternatives are really not good for health. Of course, the real thing tastes a lot better so people still continue to buy them. Oh well, just like the Chinese saying, if we don't die of this, we'll die of that. So, live life..but everything in moderation is a good rule.
